SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — According to the police officials, officers were following a car they believed to be stolen and attempted to stop it when the driver fled.
While the driver was fleeing, the car left the roadway and crashed.
The driver was taken to the local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
A passenger inside the car was not injured and was taken into police custody.
