West Valley City, UTAH – According to the police officials, the shooting occurred right after 8 p.m. Friday.
A woman reported that someone had broken into her home.
The responding officers found a man outside with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he was listed in stable condition later Friday night.
Both people involved in the incident are adults.
This incident is still under investigation.
