PROVO, Utah – The Utah Department of Health’s COVID-19 report for Thursday shows an increase of 1,273 confirmed cases—bringing the state’s total to 351,273—and 14 additional deaths.
So far, 2,054,230 people in Utah have been tested for the disease. The state’s rolling seven-day average for the number of positive tests is 1,264 per day, and the seven-day average for the percent of positive tests is 16.5.
A total of 362,701 vaccines have now been administered in Utah.
365 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
1,711 people in Utah have died of COVID-19. The 14 deaths announced Thursday are:

- between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- between 65-84, Davis County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- between 65-84, Box Elder County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- between 45-64, Salt Lake County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- between 65-84, Washington County resident, hospitalized at time of death
- between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, not hospitalized at time of death
- between 65-84, Box Elder County resident, long-term care facility resident
- 5 females
- between 65-84, Salt Lake County resident, long-term care facility resident
- between 45-64, Weber County resident, long-term care facility resident

Three of the deaths reported Thursday occurred before January 14, UDOH said in its report.
