SALT LAKE, Utah — A group called Pro-Life Utah will be stationing a mobile ultrasound clinic in front of Planned Parenthood Metro in Salt Lake City on Monday.
The Pregnancy Choice Utah Mobile Ultrasound Clinic will offer pregnancy testing, ultrasounds and options counseling for free, according to the group’s press release.
The group said the ultrasound clinic will be used in an effort to help women end abortion.
Under the direction of licensed obstetrician Dr. Mark Saunders, MD, Pro-Life Utah mobile clinic volunteers have licensed nurses and registered sonographers, Pro-Life Utah stated.
“With more than 30 years as a sonographer, it has been my privilege to share the miracle of life with thousands of expectant mothers from all walks of life,” said Katherine Olson, BAs, RDMS, Sonographer for Pro-Life Utah.
Many women in my care have struggled with fertility, stress, and anxiety around their pregnancy for various reasons, and all have benefitted from the powerful experience of seeing their baby’s heartbeat and details of their growth and development.
Pro-Life Utah is a statewide pro-life organization run by volunteers. They provide women with the resources when it comes to childbirth and promotes pro-life legislation.
