Davis County, UTAH – According to the statement, the 36-year-old hiker was found unconscious by search and rescue teams.
Authorities say the woman had slipped and fallen while using a rope and ladder to descend.
This unfortunate incident occurred right before 1 p.m. Sunday.
The woman was transported via Life Flight to a nearby hospital for treatment.

UPDATE: The Davis County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the victim involved in yesterday’s fall at Farmington creek trail waterfall is recovering and has been discharged from the hospital.
