Cottonwood Heights, UT- The missing skier’s body was found on Thursday in the Grizzly Gulch backcountry skiing area.
A search and rescue operation was conducted on Wednesday when the experienced 68-year-old Merrill Bitter didn’t return by 3 p.m. as he said.
The Unified Police Department was notified and a coordinated search was organized with Wasatch Backcountry Rescue.
They couldn’t find him until midnight, so they continued their search on Thursday.
Couple of hours later, the officials reported that they found the body of Merrill Bitter from Cottonwood Heights.
