One critical, one injured when a car catches fire in Provo embankment

Provo, UT- On Wednesday night a terrible accident took place on Foothill Drive when a car hit another vehicle and rolled down an elevated embankment. There the car was caught on fire while the passenger was trapped inside.

Luckily, the fire department was able to extinguish the fire quickly and take out the passenger on time.

They were rushed to the nearest hospital.

The 25-year-old driver is in stable condition, while the 25 -year-old woman remains in critical condition.

Reportedly, the investigators said that the driver was speeding when he hit the other vehicle, struck the barrier, and was thrown out of the car, while the passenger remained trapped inside while the car rolled down.

The other vehicle’s driver was not injured.

Provo Police are still working on the case and allegedly, suspect that the driver was impaired.
