Orem, UTAH – An overnight fire that started inside an Orem temple that was being built was put out by crews.
The fire began shortly before midnight on the third level of the temple, according to a statement from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“The construction site suffered less water damage as a result of the fire being put out with foam rather than water. This morning, damage assessment continues “written by the church.
By Tuesday, it was still unclear what started the fire.
A completion date of 2023 has been set for the Orem Utah Temple.
