Provo, UT – According to the statement, his name is Ken Dudley and in June 29, 2020, he was attempting to to turn onto Center Street when several protesters began crowding his vehicle.

A male protester, Jesse Taggart, ran to the passenger side of the SUV, pointed a handgun at Dudley and shot one round through the window.

He was struck by the bullet and fled the scene while Taggart shot a second round that went through the rear passenger window.

Dudley drove himself to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to repair his elbow resulting in a titanium radial head and rod in his elbow and forearm.
