UTAH – According to the police officials, the shooting occurred near 300 South and 300 West, police around 8:50 a.m. Thursday.
Salt Lake Police Department officers responded to a possible stabbing. When the officers arrived on scene, they tried to help the victim.
Then, the suspect aggressively approached them, which led to police shooting him.
Police say that the same man stabbed the woman in the park.
The woman was taken to a hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
