A 36-year-old man was arrested in the wrong-way crash that killed a bride who was on her way home from her wedding reception

UTAH – According to the police officials, his name is Manaure Gonzalez-Rea and he was suspected of driving under the influence when he crashed his pickup truck head-on into the victim’s Toyota.

The victim was later identified as Angelica Gabrielle Jimenez Dhondup.

Another female passenger in the Toyota was taken to a local hospital.

The 20-year-old passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Gonzalez-Rea faces charges of automobile homicide criminal negligence DUI of alcohol/drugs, theft, failure to remain at an accident involving death, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and reckless driving.

He was being held in the Salt Lake County Jail without bail.
