EUREKA, Utah — According to the officials, a new wildfire has scorched approximately 400 acres west of Eureka and destroyed at least two structures.
The blaze was estimated at 40 acres, but increased due to gusty winds in the area.
Several local and federal resources were called out to help stop the flames.
The fire has prompted a new round of warnings from firefighters for the holiday weekend.
According to the officials, 87% of wildfires take place because they’re human-caused.
