Amazon truck robbed, Utah Police looking for the suspect

SANDY, UT — An Amazon delivery truck was stolen as a driver was making deliveries. When they found the truck a few blocks further away, reportedly a few packages were missing.

The theft happened on Jan.7, but Sandy Police Department is still looking to identify the suspect who was caught on the Amazon truck’s dash camera.

That day, the driver was making delivery in the neighborhood of 600 East and Stonefly Drive in Sandy, when his truck was stolen around 2:30 p.m.

He called the police, and they located it in a couple of minutes a few blocks away, but the thief was gone.

Sandy Police urges anyone who recognizes the suspect to call the deputies at 801 799 3000.
