UTAH – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred Sunday night.
It happened in the east bound lanes near 1700 East in Sandy.
A driver was headed west on 9400 South and collided head on with another car.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The driver in the second vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Unfortunately, she later died.
This incident is still under investigation.
