MIDVALE – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 10 p.m. Saturday.
It happened near 8000 S State Street.
Authorities say the 43-year-old motorcyclist attempted to make a U-turn and crashed.
He then hit a six-inch median, lost control of the motorcycle and slid across the three lanes of South State Street.
Police say the rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
